Going to be seeing Lady Gaga live tomorrow! lol just thought I'd share with you guys I'm so excited!

I'm so pumped that I decided to write another chapter =P enjoy!

Meg's POV

[That same night]

You stupid bitch you won't amount to anything, you are nothing without me! yeah thats it try and get up I'm just going to kick you harder as you struggle. Don't bother calling the police you will not be alive when I'm done with you!

"YOUR NOT GOING TO KILL ME!" I yelled as I woke up from my slumber, just a dream thank god.

This was an occurring nightmare for me, it got so bad to where I would have to rely on sleeping pills to get me to sleep but for a while now I didn't really have to take them I guess being around my friends and keeping busy helped me a lot. I looked at my phone 4:00AM not so bad I can run on 2 hours. I sat up and rested my head in my knees.

"Meg! I heard you screaming are you okay?" asked a panicked Jack
"Yeah, I'm fine...just a nightmare thats all.."
"What was it about? if you mind me asking"
"Him.." just saying that caused me togo into waterworks, Why am I crying.
"Hey, hun don't worry I'm here"
"I know its just hard, that night is implanted in my head...it won't go away"
"Don't worry your pretty little head I'll protect you" said Jack in a funny tone
"Promise."
"I promise scouts honor, I've never seen you like this before"
"What do you mean?"
"So vulnerable, you've always been so strong"
"It only takes one person to tear you down to bits"
"And one to put you back together..I'll be that person"
"Thanks Jack"

I hugged Jack who was now sitting beside me, it felt nice I mean I never been this comfortable around someone before, it was odd. We talked for a bit I guess I didn't realize that I fell asleep because I woke up later that morning to Alex, Zack and Rian sitting across from us smiling.

"Hey guys! have a good sleep"
"Morning guys, and yes we did" said Jack suspiciously
"So...let me cut to the chase, you guys fucking?" asked Rian
"Dude! blunt much...no were not fucking, were friends!" I said while throwing my pillow at him
"Just wondering"
"Well by how the way your laying on Jack we thought otherwise" laughed Zack

I couldn't help but blush at this realization, Jack and I quickly backed off of each other and avoided eye contact, Awkward. Then again I dod have a great sleep.

"So....I guess I didn't interrupt anything then" asked Alex
"No, nothing at all" Jack said while getting up "what time is our set today?"
"At six"
"Okay sweet...umm can I talk to for a second Meg...in private"
"Sure"

Jack lead me to the back of the bus and did something I was not expecting.

                                                                                       He kissed me.

"Jack I.."
"Meg let me talk, I'm falling head over heels for you and it killed me just now when you told the guys that we are just friends because I don't want things to be like this. If you seriously don't feel that way about me I understand but right now your killing me"
"Jack I have feelings for you too, I just don't want to ruin what we patched up...I don't want to loose that bond"
"We won't got dammit! we both know it deep inside that we are great for each other especially now"
"I need to go, I just can't deal with this right now!"

I then opened the door to find the guys starring right at me, guess they were listening in on the conversation. I pushed by them and ran out of the bus. Running away from situations like this was so easy but hurt a whole lot more now because I'm in love with the boy in that bus, the boy who used to throw paper balls at me in science class. It was all coming together now I think we always had feelings for each other from way back in our school days but didn't know it yet. I finally made it to my tent to find Cailin and Chris setting up.

"Meg are you okay?"
"Chris I'm putting you in charge. Cailin I need to talk to you now!"

I know Finally! I've been really busy with a school project. College sucks! lol

Meg's POV

Jack and I found a local diner which was still open and headed in. It was surprisingly full for 3am then again they were located near a club and several bars so the place was filled with drunk people. Great. We got seated and both ordered coffee, then sat there in silence. As we sat there I couldn't help but stare at Jack he looked good. He was wearing a white collared shirt and his hair was spiked at the back he was also wearing one of the necklaces from my line he was starring at me as well.

"So Meg how many tattoos do you have exactly?"
"Ten"
"And piercings?"
"Enough"
"Sick, so you and Aaron are done?"
"Yes, can we just not talk about it"
"Oh...sure, you look amazing by the way"
"Thanks, so do you I'm liking the hair"
"Thank Cailin for that she basically attacked me with hair products earlier"
"Well she did goto a hairstyling academy its in her blood"
"I see, umm can I ask you something?"
"Shoot"
"Well..um..would you date me?"
"Uh...hypothetically right?"
"Yeah..."
"I would actually"
"Really?"
"Yeah I mean we were enemies in high school turned best friends, thats the story in every teen flic"
"Thats true"

We continued to talk and drink our coffees, Jack was telling me funny tour stories and how him and Alex would always get themselves into funny situations I couldn't stop laughing. This is what I needed. Jack started playing around with my phone I didn't really care though I had nothing to hide. One thing I couldn't was the shooting pain on my side, Damn my painkillers suck.

"Meg are you okay?"
"I wish I could say yes but my side is killing me"
"Here let me help you" Jack then placed some money on the counter and picked me up bridal style, which I was not expecting.
"Hey Jack put me down!"
"Hell no, your in pain I'm being a gentlemen"
"Your making me look like I'm too drunk to walk!"
"Whatever,we need to head back to the busses anyway before they leave without us"
"I know but do you really have to carry me like this"
"Yeah it makes me feel like a superhero"

As Jack walked out he yelled to all of the spectators in the Diner "Looks like I'm getting lucky tonight!" Some of the people inside cheered and clapped I buried my head in Jacks neck, I knew he was going to say that, I know this guy way too well. I smacked the back of Jack's head as we were nearing the busses, He is so dead when we get to the bus.

"HEY! it was all in good fun"
"Dude! I ain't no whore"
"I know that I'm just messing around"
"Ugh! you are so dead"
"Like you'd kill me"
"In a heartbeat"
"Sure, there hun"
"Did you just call me hun?"
"Yeah, I'm not aloud too?"
"No its fine I guess"

When we got to the bus all the lights were out looked like everyone was already asleep. Jack sat down on one of the couches I joined him shortly after.

"Only you Jack would get coffee all over his shirt"
"Haha damn I didn't even notice" He then took off his shirt and walked to the washroom.
"Heres some tylenol thats all we have"
"Thanks, so um...aren't you going to put a shirt on?
"Why? does it make you uncomfortable?"
"No.." I couldn't help but blush a bit. Why am I nervous?
"Okay I'll put a shirt on, my hideous body is probably giving you the creeps"
"You have a nice body Jack your not freaking me out"
"Nah! I'll go get something I sort of feel like a tease walking around like this"

As he walked to his bunk I couldn't help but check him out common! I'm only human. He came back out with the shirt I gave him the first day of warped, it looked kind of worn out.

"Before you say anything I wear this shirt a lot I didn't destroy it"
"I believe you, never thought you'd like it this much"
"I'm supporting the cause"
"I guess you are then and I appreciate it"

Jack's POV

Meg and I watched TV for a bit and talked the entire time I was debating whether I should make a move or not. She was quite into the show so I put my arm around her, she then placed her hand on my lap..weird. I scooted a bit closer to her and she did the same I leaned in and moved a strand of hair from her face she didn't seem to object she looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey Jack! and Meggy megster!" Slurred a drunk Alex
"Dammit Alex go back to bed" I yelled
"Wassss I inter...interrupting something?"
"No, no you weren't" said Meg uncomfortably
"Awww you guys!" Alex then landed in between hugging us
"Okay time to get this guy to bed"

Meg and I got Alex back into his bunk, Meg sort of just stood there smiling at me.

"What?"
"Was Alex really interrupting something?"
"Maybe...maybe not"
"Your cute when your all flustered" she said before kissing my cheek "I'm heading to bed, goodnight"
"Goodnight"

This sure has been one interesting night. I really didn't know what to make of it.

Sorry guys I've been busy with school! lol I'll try to post another chapter tomorrow!!

Two weeks later

Megan's POV

It was a long tiresome day at Warped, my tent had people in and out by group. Chris, Cailin and I were exhausted by the end of it Aaron had helped us out when he could which was sweet and Alex even dropped by to do a signing to help promote my line. So there was a lot going on. Jack had been distant for the past couple of days which wasn't at all like him he would always text me whenever he could and we would hangout for at least three hours a day but it felt like he disappeared off the face of the Planet. Zack knew what was going on with him but didn't want to tell me.

Things with Aaron were good I mean he was nice and everything but it felt like we didn't mesh together at all I felt really bad about it...here comes a sweet, romantic, caring guy but I have yet to feel any bit of emotion towards him. I couldn't talk to Cailin about it because she was too busy with her rising musical success and Zack...they were dating secretly but everyone knew, it was obvious.

                                                                                      I miss Jack

Jack's POV

I was lying down in my bunk listening to music when all of a sudden I was pulled out to the ground.

"Fuck Rian what the hell!"
"The guys and I are going out tonight and your coming"
"I don't want to"
"Dude you've been hanging out in your bunk for the past week"
"So..."
"Wheres the Jack who was always up for a party?!"
"Hes taking a break"
"Seriously Jack your coming now!"
"No"
"Okay thats it! Alex, Zack, Cailin I need help with some baggage!"

literally two seconds later they came in and picked me up and sat me down on the couch.

"Cailin what are you doing?"
"Taking your shirt off"
"Stop that! you know I don't see you in that kind of way"
"Just sit still, your shirt is smelly I'm trying to dress you"
"Whats wrong with going out like this"
"Were going to a club, I'm trying to make you look decent"
"Now I really don't want to go out" I tried getting up but Alex and Zack shoved me back
"Thanks guys, we already made plans to meet Meg and Aaron there so you can't back down now"
"I didn't make the plans so why should I be obligated to go.."
"Dammit Jack Meg misses you like mad, I can see it in her eyes she checks her cell constantly hoping to get a text from you"
"Oh I..."
"Just shut up and let me style your hair"

Meg's POV

When we got to the club the guys didn't seem to be there yet, so we decided to wait out front since it wasn't really busy yet.

"So..why did you want to come here exactly?" asked Aaron, he was never a one for going out to clubs or bars.
"I love to dance, I heard theres good music here thought it'd be fun"
"Cool cool..."
"Why don't you like going out to places like this?"
"I think there a waste of time, quite silly really.."
"Oh..."

The boys and Cailin showed up about ten minutes later Aaron had gone inside to buy himself a drink, he was starting to get on my nerves anyway. Cailin ran up and gave me a hug while the guys just stood behind her staring awkwardly they were never the clubbing sort of guys they preferred the bar scene. When I saw Jack my face lit up.

"Wow Meg you look amazing" commented Alex
"Well thank you Mr. Gaskarth not looking too bad yourself"
"I try, so wheres Aaron?"
"Hes inside already"
"Then what are we waiting for, lets party!"

Alex then took my hand and pulled me inside the club. Since the owner had heard of All time low he hooked us up with a free bottle of vodka and dibs on the VIP section. We all talked for a bit and had a couple of drinks, Cailin and Zack left to go dance shortly after, I looked to Aaron but he didn't seem to get the hints I was leaving him. What a waste of time. I got up and pulled Aaron with me, I wanted to dance. As we walked through the crowd of people Aaron stopped me.

"Meg, the dance floor is packed let it die down a bit"
"Um...no this is the reason why I'm here it shouldn't matter"
"It does matter..."
"Why can't you just do this for me"
"Well I showed up didn't I?"
"Common one song"
"Let me have a couple of more drinks first"
"Are you kidding me! man I got all dressed up to out with my friends and my boyfriend and you don't even want to have fun this is ridiculous!"
"Go ask Jack to dance"
"Excuse me?"
"Meg I'm not blind I see the way you look at him, and how you text each other everyday I don't think I ever was your boyfriend...you already had one"
"Aaron I..."
"Goodbye Meg"

He disappeared through the dancing crowd of people leaving me to get bashed around by drunk girls grinding on strangers. I shoved by them to hit face first into someone, someone I knew.

"Fuck! sorry Jack I didn't mean to..."
"Are you okay?"
"Not really, being dumped always sucks..."
"Want to get out of here?"
"Sure anything is better then this place"
"I'm happy he left you"
"Why is that?"
"I missed my best friend"

Jack missed me too, funny, hating this kid was so easy growing up but falling for him was a whole lot more complicated. What have I gotten my self into....

Jack's POV

After the my rounds of interviews for magazines and local TV stations I searched for Megan. I should just tell her now...I guess? I went to her tent but some guy was there instead.

"Woah! Jack Barakat! dude I'm a big fan"
"Thanks man and you are?"
"I'm Chris, Meg hired me today actually I used to work at the concession stand"
"Oh sweet, liking the new job?"
"So far its been great"
"Nice, do you happen to know where Meg is?"
"Yeah shes at Cailin's show right now taking pictures"
"Damn I totally forgot, see you around man"
"Bye!"

I pushed by the crowd to see Megan camera in hand singing along to Cailin's music, she noticed me and motioned to come stand by her. It was hard to get to her because people recognized me and kept pulling me back for hugs and high fives it was fun though. When I finally got there Cailin waved at me for a second then continued on with her set.

"Get some good shots?"
"Yeah! the new lighting really brings out her personality in the shots"
"Sick, the turnout is great"
"I know! this is insane!"
"Are you planning to take more pictures?"
"Course!"
"She looks kind of lonely up there"
"What do you mean? shes having a blast"
"Thats not what I meant"

I then hopped the stage asked the guitarist if I could borrow his guitar with no hesitation he gave it right away, I've heard most of Cailin's songs...thanks to Zack so it didn't take me that long to catch up to the beat. More people started to pile up by the second the look on Cailin's face was priceless she was shocked and amazed at the same time. Meg was attacking us with her camera when she finally stopped for a bit and blew me a kiss. Did she just do that?

Meg's POV

Man I was not expecting that. Jack had always been a spontaneous guy but I didn't think he would pull a fast one, defiantly took me by surprise. When the show was over I got a boost by one of the security guards to the stage and hugged both Cailin and Jack.

"You were amazing Cailin!"
"Thanks! Jack I didn't know you listened to my music"
"Well you got to thank Zack for that hes always paying your tunes on the bus"
"Damn I had no clue"
"Well you do now!"
"Do you happen to know where he is?"
"On the bus like usual"
"Sweet, I need to talk to that guy see you two later"
"Most likely not!" I added in
"HEY! not funny"

As she ran off Jack just stared at me, it was kind of odd. Looked like he wanted to say something.

"Spit it out Jack"
"What!?"
"You want to tell me something, what is it?"
"Oh...uhh...more like ask"
"Okay....what?"
"I was wondering if you wanted too..."
"Hey Meg! ready to go?" came that voice I grew accustomed too.
"Oh Aaron hey! just give me a second"
"What were you going ask me Jack?"
"Nothing forget it...seems like you already have plans"

Before I could say anything he walked away. What was his problem?...whatever I had a date to go on, yet why do I feel like shit. I should be excited right?

Jack's POV

Aaron! really...stupid fucker already got to her. I really wish I could bash his face into the wall. I walked into the bus to find Zack and Cailin playing video games...at least they weren't making out.

"Hey Jack sup.."
"I don't want to talk right now Zack"
"Whats wrong?"
"Aaron thats whats wrong"
"Shit dude I di..."
"I'm going to bed, night guys"

I got in my bunk and turned my iPod on. I wasn't tired but my heart felt like it was ready to give up. I still plan to tell her how I feel, not now though. She was happy I really did not want to ruin that.

Meg's POV

I woke up the next day on the couch this time. Alex passed out on my shoulder snoring very loudly and Jack resting on my lap. Now how can I get up without waking these two. I managed to get Alex off my shoulder he had always been a heavy sleeper but what was I supposed to do with Jack? he looked so peaceful...it was cute. I stayed there for a bit thinking of what to do, Zack then appeared with a cup of coffee.

"Here take this"
"Thanks man, wheres Cailin?"
"She left to go set up the tent"
"Oh shit! I forgot I should go help her"
"Don't worry she didn't want to wake you up, that Aaron guy is helping her out"
"Aaron...wow really?"
"Yeah hes a nice guy, didn't you have a big crush on him in highschool?"
"Maybe.."
"Hes interested. dropped by earlier to talk to you"
"Dammit! you should have woken me up!"
"I guess I should of...oh well"
"If Jack wasn't sleeping on me I would slap you"
"That never stopped you before"
"Ugh! I hate you"

I finished my coffee fairly quicky so I could leave and get ready I really needed to take a shower. Jack finally woke up realized he was on my lap and stood up abruptly.

"Good morning sleepy head"
"Morning...what time is it?"
"9 am you had me trapped here for a good hour"
"Damn sorry about that, you could have woken me up..."
"Nah! you looked so peaceful, couldn't do that to you"
"Thanks"

I then got up and said bye to the guys and headed to the merch bus, I took a quick shower and put on a pair of black skinny jeans and a old All time low T-shirt Zack had sent me 2 years ago slipped on a pair of black flats and ran out headed to my tent. When I arrived Aaron was still there talking to Cailin.

"Well finally your awake! I need to go do my soundcheck in fifteen"
"Sorry Cailin I thought I set my alarm for seven"
"You did but Rian threw your cellphone across the bus"
"So thats why it was near Alex's bunk"
"I'll leave you two I'm out!"
"See ya" said Aaron "So I dropped by earlier but you were still asleep"
"Yeah...It was a long night what did you want to talk to me about?"
"Um...uh..I..wanted to know if I could take you out for dinner this evening"
"Sure" Did I just say that...
"Sweet, well I need to go back to my tent now see you later"

As he walked off he ran into some boxes, he turned back around and gave me an awkward smile, I couldn't help but laugh Do I make him nervous? This day was going to be great, I knew it.

Jack's POV
(Later that day)

Our set was pretty early in the day so this gave me a chance to relax and check out other shows, maybe hang with Meg..just a thought. Before I could go on stage for soundcheck Zack stopped me.

"You like her don't you"
"Like who?"
"Megster"
"No where did you get that from?"
"I know these things"
"Shes just a friend.."
"That you have feelings for"
"Shut up Zack, I dont have feelings for her"
"Sure there bud, you better move fast before Aaron gets a chance"
"He likes her?"
"Head over heels"
"Shit I mean...Cool"
"It won't hurt to try, don't worry I won't tell Alex or Rian"
"Thanks man, I'll talk to her later"

Was I really going to do this? I had no idea how I would bring it up in a conversation, I wasn't really good with girls in general before we hit it big then one night stands became a part of my life for a bit...well until I ran into Meg again.

"Yo! Jack quit standing around we have a show to put on soon!" yelled Alex
"Shit my bad, got lost in my thoughts again"

Throughout the show all I had in my mind was how I was going to do this, I had no game plan I guess I'm just going to have to wing this. I hope she doesn't think I'm joking.

Cailin's POV

I was selling some of Meg's merch when Zack showed up suddenly, Hes such a cutie. The kids that were at the tent of course freaked and attacked him...the usual I swear like five kids handed me they're cameras all at the same time. Zack just laughed it off and went with the flow he always kept his cool no matter how bad or awkward the situation was. When the kids finally cleared out he gave me the biggest hug ever, it was nice.

"Hey! Cailin hows Meg's business going?"
"Pretty well actually I'm almost out of necklaces"
"Sweet! have you spoken to her lately?"
"Yes Zack she's my bestfriend too I always know when theres something up"
"Oh...well I just..."
"Give her time"
"Its just were all really worried, you and I are the only ones who actually know what went down between her and Jackson I hate keeping it from the guys"
"She'll tell them in her own time, shes just getting over what happened its still fresh"
"Yeah I bet, shes really banged up"
"seventy percent of her body"
"She didn't deserve it"
"No one does"

Before Zack could reply Jack and Meg showed up, Jack giving Meg a piggyback? Interesting. They both had drinks in hand laughing they looked like children...it was really cute.

"Yo! whad up?" Yelled Jack
"What were you guys up too?" I asked
"Making up for lost time"
"Yeah for all those years of you tormenting me!"
"Hey! its not like you were all innocent in this too Meg"
"Shut up!"
"Settle down children" stated Zack "Or I'll have to put you two in time out"
"Dude thats not funny" said Jack
"Yeah Zack thats not funny!"
"Oh so your going to turn on me just like that Meg, I was friends with you first!"
"Whose giving Meg the piggyback ride ME! I've taken over my friend"
"Jack you bastard!"

As I watched Meg, Jack and Zack bicker I couldn't help but laugh through the entire thing these kids are crazy.

-------------- Later that night ---------------

Meg's POV

After Cailin and I took down our tent I received a call from Rian inviting us back to the bus. I was hesitant at first but agreed after minutes of his whining...just like when were were kids. When Cailin and I showed up Alex and Jack were playing a video game, looked like Jack was winning from the sounds of it.

"Haha yeah! you so owe me twenty bucks!"
"Fuck off your defiantly cheating"
"Awww baby Alex wants his bottle?"
"I'm done with this game"

With that he threw his controller to the back where the bunks were hitting Zack.

"Dude what the hell? its just a game, Oh hey Cailin, hey Meg!"
"Woah we didn't see you two there, sup ladies" Said Alex as he put his arms around us
"Your temper defiantly hasn't changed" I laughed
"He keeps winning every game, very fustrating"
"Then why did you make a bet?" Asked Cailin
"Cause I thought his winning streak would end eventually"
"Epic fail, on your part Alex"
"Screw you Meg!"

The rest of the night continued on mostly telling funny stories over drinks and remembering the days when we thought high school would be the death of us. I missed those days. As I looked at each of the guys guilt came over me...didn't know if it was the alcohol in my system but I just had to do it, for they're sake. I then got up suddenly.

"Okay guys, I have to explain myself out I've been leaving you all in the dark"

I then unzipped my hoodie to reveal a fitted black tanktop but thats not what they were starring at.

"Exactly one month ago I was leaving a party with Jackson he was tanked. When we got to my place all I was thinking was to get this idiot to bed he had way too much to drink. This was an occurring pattern the only time I could actually stand him was when drinking was involved, he had been verbally abusing me for months but I always managed to take him back it was a horrible pattern. That night was different though he shoved me to the wall and started to kiss me I pushed him away I wasn't in the mood. All of a sudden he slapped me hard across the face then me being the smart person that I was slapped him back. He was furious he then punched my stomach which caused me to fall down and beat me repeatedly alternated with both fist and foot I know I blacked out shortly after. I woke up in the hospital the next day. The doctors were surprised that I even lived through that, they should know I've always been a fighter, so I'm currently covered in bruises and taking pain meds to help me get through the day without collapsing. Sorry that I never told you guys sooner. Zack knows but I made him swear not to tell, don't kill him for my selfish actions"

After my speech I then sat down looking to my feet, Tears please don't leave my eyes.

"No need to apologize Meg, theres noway we would be mad at you" said Rian as he put his arm around me.
"I know, after the incident I never contacted any of you I felt so bad"
"Dude, you got beat up badly its not like you were in the state to" commented Alex
"But I..."
"Stop Meg, We understand if we knew then we would have kicked his ass" said Jack as he placed his hand on my knee.
"Awww guys" I couldn't help but laugh at Jacks remark
"In a heartbeat" Said Alex
"So how hard was that slap of yours?" asked Rian
"Pretty hard I made his lip bleed"
"Sick remember when you slapped Jack on his 18th"
"Haha yeah"
"I remember that! that was quite a slap knocked me right out"
"You were wasted man" mentioned Zack
"So, I could still walk at that point I just remember being so pissed off the next day"

Jacks POV

The guys, Cailin and I continued to make Meg laugh thats what she really needed now, good friends and humor. It was really brave of her to tell us her story I cringed a bit when I saw those bruises again they haunted my memory. She almost died from this? thank god she lived through that, All I wanted todo now was protect her. I finally came to a realization that night...

Meg's POV

Since I was short a merch person I had to stretch my hours as well as for Cailin, she wasn't impressed but was really happy about Amber being gone. I was ignoring phone calls from the guys for most of the morning I didn't want to have to explain my self out...not yet at least.

"Look Meg your going to have to tell them, Jack has been texting me like mad hes worried about you...they all are"
"I know Cailin, I'm just not ready"
"There your best friends they have the right to know"
"I just don't want to relive that part of my life again"
"I understand, but you just can't keep things bottled up...its not healthy"
"Yes mommy I'll tell them later today now can we just stop talking about it."
"Fine"

Cailin stayed at the tent while I went for a walk around the grounds I wanted to see some of the bands get my mind off things. I was watching The Academy is... when someone crashed into me it hurt like mad.

"What the fuck! man"
"Oh geese sorry I didn't see you"
"How could you not miss me I was standing right here out of everyones way"
"I said I was sorry chill"

I then looked up at him to see the boy I had the biggest crush on in high school. He was starring at me like he recognized me too.

"Megan? is that you?"
"Aaron! oh my god you look so different!"

Aaron was captain of the debate team back then...nerdy I know but there was something about him that stood out from the rest. He never tried to fit in with any clique he was just content with what he was and doing I admired that. I joined the team in grade eleven and thats how we met. He was quite the looker himself.

"So what brings you here"
"Oh I'm working Gym class heros tent for the summer"
"Sweet, I'm selling my own stuff in one of the smaller tents"
"Yeah I heard I was at the All time low show last night, bought a shirt"
"Really? thanks so much for the support"
"No problem, Well I got to go take over my shift starts in 5 minutes"
"Oh okay see you around"
"Defiantly" He then took my hand and kissed it, which caused me to blush . What a gentleman

Jack's POV

I wandered the grounds looking for Meg, Cailin told me that she was checking out some of the shows. I needed to apologize. I found her talking to Aaron I heard he was Gym class hero's merch guy sort of was hoping they wouldn't run into each other I always hated that kid. He kissed her hand goodbye and walked away....Now I really don't like this kid. She saw me and started to walk in the opposite direction.

"Common Meg you got to stop walking away from me"
"I do it because its easy Jack"
"You do it because you don't have to explain yourself out"
"So..."
"I came to apologize"
"Really?"
"Yes...its not either the guys or my place to attack you like that, you'll tell us in time"
"Oh Jack I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have freaked like that you know I hate fighting"
"Yes I know, would you care to join me for lunch?"
"Sure buddy"

As we searched I noticed Meg grab her side, she was in pain I had an idea.

"Hey Meg why don't I give you a piggy back"
"Why?"
"It'll make things a whole lot faster...your kind of slowing me down"
"Well well then fine...can I call you my bitch then?"
"Only if you want me to tell people that you ride me all the time..."
"Okay then nevermind but a piggy back would be nice right about now"

She the got on my back and I ran in search for a concession stand.

Meg's POV

I woke up around eight in the morning with a terrible headache, How much did I drink? I noticed that I was in a bunk which wasn't mine let alone the bus Cailin and I were posted in. I turned to see Jack sleeping beside me....shirtless. I immediately rose up which caused me to hit my head on the top part of his bunk.

"Nice one Megs" said Jack as he was rubbing his eyes
"Um...Jack did anything go on last night?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know between you and me..."
"Maybe..maybe not"
"Dude seriously! I said while smacking his arm
"Ouch no! nothing happened"
"Oh okay...you had me worried there um...why are you shirtless?"
"You puked on my shirt when I was trying to get you to goto sleep"
"Oh...sorry about that"
"Its fine you are quite funny drunk"
"I guess...Is it ok if I use your shower?"
"Yeah the guys won't be up for a bit anyway"
"Sweet"

When I got to the washroom I made sure the door was locked, with 4 boys here who knew what could happen. I took off my shirt to find the reminders of a past event plastered all over my body, Shit! I forgot my painkillers, I searched through there small washroom to find tylenol I took them quickly and hope they would kick in fast.

"Oh...shit! sorry Meg" said Alex "Woah your bod.."
"ALEX GET OUT!" I screamed which of course caused everyone to wake up
"He did that to you....all of that?"
"JUST GO!"
"Megan I didn't know things were that bad with you two"
"How did you get in? I locked the door"
"The doors been broken for 3 months now thanks to Jack"
"Hey! I was drunk man, oh my god Meg what happened!?"

Jack's POV

When I saw Meg all banged up it killed me. Bruises covered her ribs stomach and from the mirrors reflection her entire back. All I knew was that her ex was a jerk I had no idea that he did this to her behind closed doors.

"Ugh! guys get out!
"Not until we get the truth" said Alex sternly

Meg then did something I wasn't expecting she pushed Alex and I with such force and walked out of the bus no shirt and all. I grabbed one of my shirts and ran out after her.

"MEG STOP! at least put this on
"What I bet you've seen a lot of girls here walking around in bras...no big deal"
"Common please"
"Fine" she then grabbed the shirt from me and put it on "Happy now"
"Just come back to the bus we won't ask anymore questions"
"No its fine Jack I got to help set up my tent anyway before warped opens..see you around"
"Bye"

She then ran off, that girl was really good a disappearing...yet all I could think of was her beaten up body and how much I wanted to kill the person that did that to her.

------------ Part 4 -------------

Megan's POV


Before getting on the bus I called Mike who was manning my tent he was able to get a couple of other merch guys to help him out, thanks to Jack groups of people were buying my stuff after the show. Why was he so nice all of a sudden? To be honest I was getting tired of fighting with him all the time as well. When I entered the boys headquarters it looked like everyone was waiting for me.

"Finally Meg we can't start this party without you!" commented Zack who was sitting beside Cailin on the couch
"Well sorry man I had to check on the tent, Mikes swarmed with people"
"Holy crap really?" said Jack "See Alex people listen to me, why don't you!"
"Sorry hun, I have other priorities"
"Boys settle down theres a time and place to argue and this is not the time"
"Your right Meg, heres a 20 pack of Heineken my gift to you" Said Jack as he handed me the case
"Shit! man I can't drink this all!"
"I could always help you..."
"Deal"

As the night progressed, driking game after drinking game later everyone was pretty much done including myself. Amber was trying to get Jack's attention all night by landing on his lap to brushing up against him, nothing seemed to work. She was the type of girl who put herself off as easy when wasted I found it pathetic. It came to a surprise to see that none of her tricks seemed to get to him I mean Jack was known for screwing around so I thought he would have fun with this but he just brushed her off. Weird.

"Meg I'm leaving" said a disgruntled Amber
"Whats wrong aren't you having fun?"
"Not really your friends a fucking douche"
"Hes probably just not interested."
"In me? boys love me"
"Well hes not loving you much now is he?"
"Bitch."
"Your fired"
"What!"
"Your fired, thats the last time I get lip from you...I've been looking for an excuse to end our friendship for a while now"
"Fuck you"
"Love ya!"

With that she left, I then stumbled back to my spot beside Jack on the couch.

"Did you guys happen to hear that all" I slurred
"Yep pretty much" laughed Rian
"Ha...my bad"
"More like thank you" said Jack as he put his arm around me
"Found her annoying?"
"Really annoying"
"Thats good to hear"
"Jelous" Where did that come from?
"Um...no! I'm just stating my hate for her"
"Oh...anyways your looking good"
"Thanks so are you, I'm liking the new hair" I said while petting his head
"I'm liking yours as well long defiantly suites you"


Jack's POV


I couldn't help but flinch at Meg's touch. This is weird. Drunk and all I couldn't stop starring at her, I noticed Alex glaring at me, Whats his deal?

"Yo Jack can I talk to you for a sec? or am I interrupting something?" said Alex, he was standing right in front of as at this point.
"Sure thing"

We then walked to the back of the bus near where our bunks were. He then sat me down on Rians bunk and starred at me for a bit.

"Don't fuck her"
"Excuse me? I wasn't going to"
"By the way you were looking at her it seemed like it."
"What so your going to just imply me wanting to get in her pants, shes more then that"
"are you sure?"
"Dude I'd never lie to you, I see her as a friend thats it!"
"Calm down...I was just making sure"
"Don't worry I want to look out for her as much as you guys do"
"Okay...but if you try anything the guys and I will kick your ass"
"like you haven't already, now am I free to go now?"
"Sure thing"

I then ran back to where everyone else was and we continued to talk till the early morning.   Shes just a friend....just a friend.

                       
Megan's POV


Stupid Jack bashing my clothing line, Jerk. At least he dyed over his skunk streaks. Why am I thinking about his hair...ew.

(later that night)

The one thing I hated the most was when people insulted me or my friends, Jack insulted my work he defiantly stayed the same. Zack was able to hook me up with backstage access for they're show so Cailin, Amber and I didn't have to worry about getting stuck with the fans in the crowd, I've never really liked mosh pits I always ended up hurt. As we were standing there I couldn't help but notice some of the girls at the front of the barricade starring at us, probably thought we were groupies or something.

"Wow this is awesome! I've never been backstage for a show ever!" cried Amber she was a Warped veteran been going every summer since she was fourteen.
"Yeah this is the shit" laughed Cailin
"Settle down guys its just All time low" I said while leaning against a speaker
"Dude you just say that cause your good friends with them" said Amber with a hint of jealousy in her voice.
"Except Jack...want me to introduce you after?"
"YES!"
"Okay now relax"

The guys showed up shortly after I couldn't help but notice Cailin and Amber light up, they were really looking forward to this.

"Hey! Meg! wheres my hug?!" called Rian
"Come here then!"
"No you come here!"
"Ugh! fine"

While Rian and I hugged I noticed that Jack was wearing the shirt I gave him earlier...weird.

"Jack? your wearing my design I thought you hated it"
"I never said that geese, Its the only shirt that was clean don't flatter yourself"
"Fuck you"
"Okay kids cut it out" interfered Zack "Is that Cailin over there?"
"Yep why?"
"Shes changed a lot like wow"
"Shes single you know"
"Really? I don't know i.."
"Just talk to her after the show everyone knows you've liked her since I introduced you two years ago"
"Shit! its about time I made a move I'll do it"
"Finally!"

I then high fived Alex right before the guys ran out front. It'd been a while since I saw them live and I got to say they were amazing it brought me back to my highschool days where nothing really mattered. I noticed Amber starring at Jack I had a feeling she was falling for him, his act.

"So um...Meg is Jack single?"
"Most likely"
"What do you mean"
"The guys a dweeb of course he'd be single never really was lucky in the girl department"
"Well I think hes kind of cute"
"Go for it, just be careful"
"Oh I will"


Jack's POV

it was nearing the end of our set with one more song to go I looked over to see Meg smiling and cheering for us, it made me feel a bit guilty I think the only time I would see her smile like that was when we would play a show. Before Alex could introduce the last song I interrupted him.

heres to 7 years of torment Meg, I need to make this up to you somehow.

"Hey everybody before I let Alex continue you all should checkout a small tent after the show its located near the Ernie ball stage, Kanukclothing our good friend designs the stuff there I'm wearing one of her shirts right now and I got to say I feel quite sexy in it"

The crowd started screaming and laughing along to my remark. Please don't kill me. We then wrapped up the show and ran off stage I was exhausted I turned around to see Meg and and her friend starring right at me I approached with caution.

"Jack you look thirsty here" Said the redhead while giving me a bottle of water
"Thanks and you are?"
"oh Jack this is Amber she works at my tent"
"Oh...sup Amber"
"I'M AWESOME! You guys were amazing!"
"We try"

Before Amber could say anything Cailin called her over she excused herself and ran off. Thankgod.

"Thank you" said Meg well more like whispered
"Um..say that again I didn't hear you"
"Thank you Jack, That was really sweet of you"
"Thats a first"
"Theres a first for everything" with that she then hugged me

I kind of just stood there and attempted to hug back I mean I couldn't stand this chick before yet I'm here receiving a hug from her, Kind of awkward. As we let go I saw a smile form on her lips.

"So where does this leave us" she asked "Friends or enemies?"
"Enemies was sort of getting old for me, why don't we try this friendship thing out"
"Sounds good"
"The guys and I are planning to have some drinks on the bus, up for it?"
"Sure thing you owe me a couple of beers for all the shit you caused"
"Fine fine will do"

We all then walked off the stage and headed toward the bus. Friends with Meg, I need to adjust to this.

This story is set in the summer of 08. So people don't get confused lol

Megan's POV


"You were awesome Cailin!"
"Thanks man I was so nervous"
"Well it didn't show the crowd loved you"
"Really?"
"Yes really some were even taking pictures"
"Wow I didn't even notice"
"Thats why you got me, it looks like some new fans want to talk to you"
"Shit! see you later"
"Yep don't be shy to mention a certain tent..."
"Course Meg course"

While I left Cailin mingle with the group of kids I was scanning through the pictures I took of her, so I would know which to post on her Myspace profile. I was basically her tour manager for the summer since her mom couldn't come out to the shows it was a bit stressful sometimes but I liked the work, it kept my mind off certain things.  

"Yo Megster! my main man"
"From when I last checked I was all women"
"Well I don't know maybe I could have a look see?"
"Alex you perv"
"Don't lie you like it"
"Thats one thing I didn't miss about you, and whats with those scarves you've been wearing lately? girly much"
"I like them plus I don't need you beefing me Jack does that already"

Ugh..Jack just hearing his name pissed me off

"So come up with any new challenges?"
"In a matter of fact I have" Before I knew it he gave me the tightest hug where I couldn't breathe.
"Dude your killing me!"
"Who can give the best hug...I CAN!"
"Seriously Alex it hurts" As he let go I couldn't help but grab my side in pain, It was still pretty tender there.

"Meg you okay?"
"Oh I'm fine you just caught me off guard"
"..So are you coming out to the show tonight?"
"Of course! I'll be there wouldn't miss it for the world I got one of The Maines merch guys to work my tent later"
"Nice are you headed to your tent now?"
"Duh! Amber's been there for a bit now I bet shes dying"
"Could I join you?"
"Sure buddy"

Alex helped me sell some shirts and necklaces it was a bonus that his band was one of the headliners this summer though I did end up having to take a lot of pictures for groups of screaming chicks...I think I went deaf a couple of times. After an hour of this I had to restock we ended selling a lot.

"Thanks so much Alex"
"For a good friend anytime, So...how are things?"
"Pretty good, just trying to keep myself busy"
"Cool..Zack told me ab.."
"Alex stop, not now"
"Sorry"
"Its fine, I just don't want to talk about it"
"I understand but just don't bottle it up remember grade ten bio"
"Oh man that was bad"
"Yet funny who knew you could throw that far"

Jack's POV


I was checking out some of the local bands when I noticed Alex and Meg talking guessing it was her tent they were at. She looked a lot different from when I last saw her. Long hair, Tattoos, surface piercings. Zack was right she was hot, I mean not that it was going to effect how much I disliked her.

"Well well well who do we have here"
"Oh hey Jack" replied Meg, she seemed unpleased
"Whats up?"
"Nothing, youself?"
"Fine, Nice merch...very colorful very not you"
"Excuse me.."
"I mean its so cheerful and happy"
"Seriously Jack if your here to pester me about my clothing line it'd be best to just leave"
"No no no I like it I'm just saying its out of your element"
"Okay then...heres a shirt tell your friends Alex can you watch the tent I need to use the washroom"

Then she walked away in a flash. What was her problem I was being nice. while watching her leave Alex punched my arm.

"Dude what the hell!"
"Be nice"
"I was!"
"No you weren't, your being an ass"
"Pfft,.whatever atleast I got a free t-shirt"
"Just go she doesn't need your attitude right now"
"As you wish, its not like she was pleasant herself"

I flipped the t-shirt over my shoulder and headed back to the bus. Sure her looks changed, but her attitude hasn't.

So I decided to get out of early retirement and write a new fanfic =P its just an intro pretty much not a lot going on more to come in the following weeks.

Megan's pov

 

"Yo Jason! do you know where my jewelry is?"

"No idea Meg, Have you tried asking Jon?"

"He told me to ask you."

"Oh um...then maybe the guys are unloading it now..."

"Okay...thanks"

Man these merch guys are useless.

It was my first year working at warped for the summer. To be honest I never really cared much for events like this, but I was excited. I was able to get my own little tent selling my own line of t-shirts, hoodies, and jewelry with 2 of my good friends helping sell I couldn't wait for my summer to start. My tent would be located near the local stage for the whole tour which was cool I'm always up for a good show. 

 

"Hey Meg! I got your Jewelry!"

"Thank god! thanks so much Cailin"

"No prob. your my best buddy and all, comes with the territory"

"Course my friend"

 

Cailin was my best friend I've known her for years, She was able to score some shows on the local stage it was her dream to make it big and I supported her all the way. 

 

"Dude! I'm so stoked! my first show its in 2 hours!"

"Yes I know Cailin you've been keeping me informed all day"

"I know...I'm just really excited!"

"So am I! I'll be front row taking some awesome shots, just call me your paparazzi" 

"Sure thing, I'm going to go buy some smokes I'll see you in a few"

"Ok sweet thanks for tracking down my jewelry"

 

Most the bands playing this year I knew about or had heard in conversation. One band in particular that I was really looking forward to seeing was All time low. I knew those dudes way back when we were in high school, Zack was like a brother to me and Rian lived right down the street so I sort of was stuck with them not that it was a bad thing. Alex and I got along great we always would compete over the stupidest things like who could stuff as many straws in they're mouth to who could hold they're breath the longest, good times. Then there was Jack...he was nice and all...but we never seemed to get along. We always argued, I seriously can not understand how the rest of the guys could take his immaturity...I still think he should be medicated. 

As I finished setting up and kids were entering I couldn't help but smile. It was exciting I've never done something like this before I hope people like my designs, 

 

"Hey Megster lost in your thoughts again I see" came a familiar voice I've haven't heard in months.

"Shut up you douche or should I call you muscle man now"

"I'd prefer hot stud but I'll take it"

"Oh Zackie did I miss you so" I said while hugging him

"I missed you too sister from another mister" 

 

Zack was always there for me. Back in high school whenever someone would give me a hard time he was the guy who would kick they're ass literally. We did date briefly back then but never worked out...it was too weird. None the less he still stood by me. 

 

"So where are the rest of the guys?"

"There at our merch tent we have a signing in 15min"

"Sweet! when are you guys playing?"

"Oh not for another 5 hours, sweet designs my friend can I have a shirt?"

"Yep that'll be $20"

"Hey! I'm your bestfriend can't you hook me up?"

"Nope"

"Fine I'll take my business elsewhere"

"Dude I kid, Take it you do need more shirts"

"I have a lot I just choose not to wear them"

"Your such a whore Zack"

"I know and you love it"

"Whatever just go or your going to be late!"

"Sure thing its great seeing you again Meg...you look good"

"Thanks man now go! we can chat later" 

As he ran past the piles of people I couldn't help but laugh a little. Same old Zack, I wonder how the rest of the guys are doing. 

 

Zacks POV

 

As I ran past group after group stopping here and there for pictures I finally made it to the tent with 5 minutes to spare. The guys were all getting seated when I bursted in. 

 

"Finally! where were you" asked Alex he seemed a bit irritated

"I was talking to Megan at her tent"

"Oh shit! how is she?"

"Great...I got to say shes looking good shes got a few tattoos now from what I saw"

"Whoop di do" said Jack while drawing on the table 

"Dude whats your deal?"

"Nothing..so shes inked big deal"

"Be nice"

"I never was never will be"

"Shes been through a lot, Can you atleast keep your thoughts to yourself"

"I'll try..won't garentee anything"

 

I never knew why Jack had such a problem with Meg. They're relationship reminded me of middle school when the boy would annoying the girl to shreads. Cute but gets old fast. I just hope they don't try to kill each other by the end of Warped. 

 

I was reading my last posts and my god have things changed since then. I re-patched friendships, Met a guy that treats me right, and changed my look. Its been 2 years since I posted my stories and rants man I can't believe I fell for a scene boy back then its funny reading my bit about him. I was thinking about posting some new fanfics they were fun to write and got my creative juice flowing. I'm coming out of Buzznet retirement...it feels nice =)

Well I broke up with my boyfriend of 8 months this past friday and well it went surprisingly well.
You see we pushed each other away to the extent that we wanted things to workout but it caused so much fighting that I had enough
Were still friends though...We talked tonight and well I think part of him wants me but I don't LOVE him anymore...Yeah harsh I know...He just changed so much.
NOW on to a bigger dilemma I'm falling for a classmate/good buddy crap! what the hell!
I thought I was supposed to still be hurting over my breakup...I guess that was the good thing about falling out of love
I'm screwed.

Alex had invited me to come with him and the dudes of All time low for the rest of the tour. Mae also came along her and Jack had started recently going out I was happy for her finally meeting someone. Just her boyfriend was INSANE! to say the least he had his quirks like finding unique ways of waking me up. Today I was awoken to him attacking me with silly string....not funny. Atleast it was the last day of the tour and then the band would be taking sometime off...which meant more time with Alex.

As I was rudly woken up it was time for payback I chased Jack out to the main deck of the bus where everyone was...no one seemed to care I guess they're just immune to Jack's personality?

"Mae your boyfriend dosen't happen to be hiding a stash of silly string now does he?"

"Oh yeah its in that bag near Zach"

"Thankyou"

"Hey babe why would you betray me like that?!"

I chased Jack out of the bus to where I finally pinned him down and got him right in the face with green silly string. Alex was near taking pictures.

"Oh I would I can see the title now 'Jack finally got what he deserved' so how does it feel being tackled by a girl"

"Man thats it...Charlie give me the can...you don't mind me attacking your guy right?"

As I watched the guys run back into the bus I couldn't help but smile the past 2 months have been crazy fun I was loving every moment. I still kept in touch with the guys of Panic but it seemed like Ryan was never in the mood to talk or respond to my emails. I didn't know what was wrong with him.

This was it that last show All time low would be playing it was depressing in a way it would mean going back to my crappy job at Sears taking pics of little whiney children while going to college studying my art....I guess it wouldn't be that bad since Alex was going to stay with me for a bit.

"Char char can I have a kiss before I go on stage"

"Oh Ali Alex your sweet ofcourse you can have a kiss" I said while kissing him lightly on the lips....yes we had kiddish nicknames for each other but we both didn't mind

"Theres no party after this show just a brief meet and greet you and Mae just meet us back in the bus ok"

"Ok break a leg love"

"I will" he then kissed my cheek and ran on stage

Mae and I stayed for a bit and watched but left about halfway through like we always did to walk around outside.

"So how are things with you and Jack" I asked

"Great actually he keeps me laughing"

"Yeah I know I think I'm the only girl that can stand his crazyness"

*I'm sorry for the lack of updates I've been busy with work, school, friends and the boyfriend lol so heres chapter 4 finally!*

When Alex and I got on the bus the rest of the band were there plus some. Dani, Emily, and Mae were there along with Ryan and the guys of Panic.

"Hey guys look who I found sitting outside" said Alex as he led me in

"Charlie where have you been?" asked Emily

"We thought you left" said Mae

"Oh I wasn't feeling too good so I thought I would get some fresh air...which turned into an hour I guess"

"Deep in thought again I see" commented Ryan I couldn't help but notice him staring at my hand which was attached to Alexs

"Yeah...its a weakness"

"So Charlie take a seat and I'll introduce you to my band"

"Since when is it your band man...I'll introduce myself hi Charlie I'm Jack I play guitar"

"Hey...so your the guy Mae yelled at before the show" I said while smiling

"Shut up it was dark out" said Mae between laughs

"Yep I'm the guy...the rapist"

"Ugh man how many times do I have to say I'm sorry you did seem kind of off"

"I'm just playing chill"

"Continuing on the dude near Dani is Zach aka the quiet one"

"Hey! I'm not quiet I'm just not much of a talker and hello to you Charlie"

"Nice to meet you Zach"

"Last but not least is Rian the drummer"

"Hey HEY! Charlie whats up!?"

"I'm pretty awesome you?"

"I'm fantastic"

"Man what did I say about laying off the energy drinks after shows" said Alex while looking in the fridge

"Whatever I probably wasn't paying attention"

"He liked chugged 5 before you 2 came" said Dani

"Dude thats not healthy" said Jack

"That was my last one I swear"

"Anyways since were all here LETS GET THIS PARTY STARTED!" yelled Alex while putting some music on

Hours past and everyone was having a blast. For most of the night Brendon was texting his mystery girl, Jon was dancing with Rian and Emily which was funny because none of them have any rythm, Spencer, Zach and Dani were having a drunken conversation which made no sense. Jack and Mae were outside doing god knows what and Ryan was just sitting at the back of the bus writing in a notebook. I was sitting in the drivers seat of the bus since it was the only place that was empty.

"Is this seat taken?" came a voice

"Well duh! Alex theres no room for you"

"I'll fit"

"What do y--

With that Alex pulled me up jumped into the drivers seat and placed me on his lap.

"See theres room"

"Oh shut up"

"So...can I call you? asked Alex

"What?"

"You know...lets just say I want to see you again"

"Funny...I've been wanting you to ask me that question all night"

"Really?"

"Yeah...your different Alex your personality just puts a smile to my face"

Weird thing is he didn't reply...all he did was wink with that he kissed me. As we pulled away I was speechless the only thing I could do was pull him in for more.

I don't want to lose another year Ch3

I stayed outside way after the show was over. I just couldn't go back inside I wanted to leave but that would mean dragging Mae back when she was having a great time for once...I didn't want to spoil it for her. While deep in thought I didn't realize someone was behind me.

"Is this seat taken?" Came an unfamilier voice

"No..."

"Why so glum?"

"Who uses the word glum anymore"

As I left my thoughts to get a glance at this stranger.....he wasn't so much of a stranger"

"A-A-Alex....hey"

"So were you out here the entire time?"

I couldn't help but cringe with guilt...he looked so disapointed.

"Well yeah...but that dosen't mean I wasn't listening"

"Oh..."

"Like even though I wasn't physically watching you guys I heard everything....you have a great voice"

"Thanks...I'm guessing Ryan told you everything"

"What I--

"I better be going th--

"No...stay" I said while grabbing his arm...I couldn't help but blush a little

"I'm a bit embarrassed you know"

"Why would you be?"

"Um...well asking a friend of yours for your digits..kind of--

"odd"

"Yeah."

"Well when Ryan told me he gave you my number I was pretty shocked...like hes never done something like that before"

"Oh...so I should get rid of your number then"

"No" what the hell did I just say

"So um what should I do with it?" said Alex with a mysterious smirk on his face

"Keep it...I trust you with it"

"Awesome...you look cold here take my hoodie"

"I'm not cold"

"Your shivering....take it"

"I don--

"I'll say this one more time...take it I don't normally give girls my hoodies so your lucky"

"Oh then I should be honoured"

"Course I am a god you know"

"Sure" I said while rolling my eyes

"Hey heres a thought why don't you come chill with me and the guys they're back in the bus right now"

"Well...I don't know I---

"Oh common your friends are there too"

"Ok why not"

As we walked to the bus Alex took my hand. It was so warm and gentle...it just put a smile to my face. Theres something about this guy...I'm sort of glad Ryan gave him my number.

"You know that hoodie looks pretty good on you"

"Oh really...I might not give it back then"

"Keep it...it belongs to you now"

*Sorry for the delay I've been busy with school and work. Today I'm at home due to shitty weather so I might aswell start another chapter lol*

"Okay Mae your coming with us to the show"

"I don't feel like it...I'd rather watch TV"

"Ugh! your so boring...live a little its just a small gig I've heard a lot of good things about this band plus Ryan and the guys are going to be there"

"Whatever"

"Thats it! up you get"

"Hey! don't touch me...I'll go"

Charlie's POV

Emily, Dani and I were invited by Ryan to this local show. He met the lead singer a couple of days ago and was given a couple of tickets. It had been a long while since I got to hangout with Ryan with his constant touring with the band and all I missed spending time with him. I had one ticket left and I thought I would invite my roomate Mae she was new to the place and was a little home sick shes nice and all but man was she driving me crazy...she needed to get out of the apartment for her own good.

"There I'm dressed happy now?"

"Oh your not leaving dressed like that" said Emily

"Whats wrong with my outfit?"

"Nothing....ok get rid of the hoodie you have a nice figure show it off plus you have a cute tanktop under it, get rid of those old shoes and put on a pair of plack heels they look good with skinny jeans and put your hair up you always leave it down"

"Woah Emily...pyscho much.."

"Well I'm just helping you out now go fix your self up.....again"

"Fine be right back"

"Wow Emily way to be pushy"

"Well Dani I was just telling her the truth"

"Very harshly"

"She'll thank me later"

"For what?"

"When she hooks up with some good looking guy"

"Oh you and your men Emily"

"Shut up"

"Okay does this look good" said Mae as she walked out of her room

"Damn girl you look good" I said holding back laughter...she looked so pissed off

"Lets just go"

When we got to the small venue it was already quite busy. Ryan also gave us some passes which gained us early entry I spotted Brendon backstage it looked like he was texting someone.

"Hey Brendon! what are you doing?"

"Nothing....texting..my..um..mom"

"Your mom? your so lying"

"What! I can't text my mom"

"Sure you can but I thought she prefered phone calls"

"I like to change things up a bit"

"Sure thing bud...have you seen Ryan?"

"The last time I saw him he was talking to some of the techies"

"Oh ok thanks...have fun texting mommy"

He totally wasn't texting his mom. Probably some chick he met last week or something. I walked around the place for a bit to see Dani talking to some guy I didn't recognize. I decided to let it be knowing her she would have freaked out on me later for intruding. I couldn't help but notice that Mae was missing she probably wondered off or worse gone back to the apartment.

Mae's POV

Why am I here I should have stayed home. I don't do the whole party thing. I decided to walk outside for a bit to get some fresh air....I should have brought my hoodie why did I let Emily talk me into wearing this tanktop. As I walked around the almost empty parkinglot I was knocked down by some guy it really hurt.

"What the hell is your problem!...watch where your going!"

"Um..I'm sorry I didn't--

"I'm not done talking...you should know better for all I know you could be some serial rapist!"

"Woah calm down if I was a rapist I'd be on top of you right now"

"So your saying you'd rape me"

"I'm not saying anything....your kind of hot though"

"Excuse me! this is no joking matter who are you anyway? why are you back here?"

"I could ask the same to you"

"I came here with friends I have a pass...I bet you broke in or something"

"No I didn't...do you know the band whos performing?"

"Yeah duh! All Time Low or something like that"

"Well I happen to--

"Oh your a techie"

"I--

"Cool cool..."

"Stop interupting me! I'm not a techie I--

"Hey Jack were on in 10min get your ass in here!" came a yell from inside

"Oh my go--

"Yeah no need for an explaination...hope to see you after the show"

With that he ran inside....I just yelled at a member of All time low..great do I feel stupid.

Charlie's POV

I finally found Mae she was talking to Emily and Dani amongst a group of people I sqeezed my way through and met up with them.

"Oh my god Charlie...Mae yelled at the guitarist of All time low!" laughed Dani

"You what!"

"I didn't know it was him I swear it was dark....I may have called him a rapist too"

"This is awesome I wish that was on camera" said Emily

Before Mae could say anything the lights went down and the guys of All time low started to play...Where was Ryan? he was nowhere in sight all of a sudden I felt two arms wrap around my waist.

"Hey Char Char missed me?"

"Cut it out Ryan"

"You know you love it"

"No I don't now quit it" I said as I slapped his hands away

"I talked to Alex shortly before the show"

"Who?"

"The lead singer"

"Oh..."

"He thinks your cute"

"Um...why are you telling me this?"

"I gave him your number"

"YOU WHAT!"

"I knew you were going to act like this"

"Ryan why I--

"Its about time you move on...ok David was a jerk"

"I can't...I...I need some air"

I then pushed through the crowd of people and ran to the parkinglot I can't believe Ryan...hes never done something like that before what is his problem...now how am I supossed to face Alex I didn't even know his name 5 min ago. He is cute...but that was far from my problems...I need a drink.

Flashback

It was a cold winter night Charlie could feel the icy breeze hit her face. She had nowhere to go running away seemed so easy at the time not thinking about the consequences.

"I shouldn't have worn flats" she thought to herself

She was only wearing a fitted hoodie, scarf, skinny jeans, and ballerina flats. Carrying only but one suitcase full of everything she had.

"If I die...I bet he wouldn't care"

Running away was the only answer. Abusive father, dead brother, never knew her mother what was the point in staying in a house where every living day was a nightmare. She sat down on the sidewalk hands and feet numb from the cold.

"I'll just sit here and rest a bit...man its cold"

She slowly touched her face where her bruise was no matter how cold it was out she could still feel it.

"Hey are you ok?" came an unfamilar voice

"I'm not a prostitute so you better keep on walking"

"Um...I know..and uh I wasn't look...I'm not that kind of guy...I just was wondering why you were out here in the cold with no jacket on"

"Maybe I don't like jackets"

"Okay...do you have a place to stay?"

"Maybe...maybe not who cares..."

"Well maybe I do"

"Dude you don't even know me"

"Hi I'm Ryan...whats your name"

"....Charlie"

"Now since we introduced ourselves your coming with me"

"Umm no offense but I don't randomly go off with guys...I don't know if your going to rape me...or kill me"

"You say that with no emotion...words mean little to you don't they"

"Deep man deep"

"Look we hardly know each other I get that but you have nowhere to stay, its freezing out and you look like your in pain....if you want you could crash at my place...my dad won't care"

"Ryan I--

"If you want a warm place to crash at follow me"

With that he walked away.

"Ryan! wait....you seem believable and I'm cold so I'll follow"

End of flashback

"Ok guys I think I got the perfect shot"

"FINALLY!"

"Thanks for being my models I owe you one"

"What about a meal on you"

"You and your food Brendon...fine lunch is on me"

"Sweet thanks Char char"

"Ryan you've been calling me that since the age of 15...quit it"

"Nope your my best friend its sort of cursed with the deal"

"You suck"

"Yet you always come back for more"

"Whatever lets go get some food.
